Resilience Education and Adventure Ltd is a Licenced Approved Activity Provider for the Expedition and Residential sections of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award. We also hold a licence from The Adventure Activity Licencing Service (AALS).
We follow the latest industry best practice and guidance ensuring that participants experience is as safe as it can possibly be, given the nature of the activity. We will run a parents information evening with a safety focus. We review our policies annually to the highest possible standards.

Staffing
Leaders are outdoor professionals well known to us - all can be described as having both 'teaching and technical' skills, either;
1. QTS with Teaching and outdoor educational experience qualifications.
2. Mountain Leader or higher full time outdoor professionals.
Child protection and safeguarding
All staff undergo continually updated DBS checks. Leaders agree to our service agreements and code of professional conduct.
Training
Participants follow fully a planned training programe appropriate to their award level for them to feel appropriately self-sufficient. An additional Emergency Life Support training module can be built into your training programme.
Medical
All medical details of individuals. Staff hold a 16hr Outdoor First Aid Certificate. These are updated every 2 years. Where further professional medical attention is required we know how and where to find it locally.
Communication
We hold a parents information and safety briefing
